Trusted Choice Facebook Charity CampaignTrusted Choice®, the consumer branding program for independent insurance agents and brokers, launched on Aug. 1 a Facebook charity campaign to raise money for Make-A-Wish®. For every post that is “shared” from the Trusted Choice® Facebook page during the month of August, Trusted Choice® will donate $10 to Make-A-Wish®.

The Facebook campaign marks the beginning of a year-long fundraising effort involving the Trusted Choice® “Chopper for Charity,” which is a Trusted Choice®-themed custom motorcycle that the Orange County Choppers have designed to raise money for Make-A-Wish®. The Trusted Choice chopper will be featured on the Discovery Channel’s “American Chopper” on Sept. 17, 2012. Over the next few weeks, the progress of the bike’s build will be shared on Trusted Choice’s® Facebook page.

Last year, Trusted Choice® ran a Facebook charity campaign driven by new “likes” on their Facebook page that raised more than $170,000 for Make-A-Wish®, a sizable donation that allowed the organization to grant 11 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
